Service Description
Join us for a five-hour hands-on workshop on the art of lost wax casting. Katherine will guide you through carving special jeweler's wax into your own unique ring design. At the end of the session, you can choose whether or not to have your ring cast in sterling silver. Casting and finishing are optional add-ons and will be priced based on the final weight of your wax model. This workshop is perfect for someone wanting to make a unique and tailored gift for a loved one, friends looking for a fun creative activity, or jewelry lovers excited to design a one-of-a-kind ring. What’s included: - 5 hours of guided instruction - All the necessary tools and materials for wax carving - Complimentary drinks and light refreshments Optional casting & finishing: After the workshop, you may choose to have your wax ring cast in sterling silver. Final pricing depends on the weight of your piece. Below are typical estimates (ring examples shown in the link below): - Small, delicate rings: approx. $30 - $45 - Medium rings: approx. $45 - $80 - Large statement rings: $85+ (During the workshop Katherine will provide examples of rings and their corresponding casting cost, as well as help ensure that a ring stays within a certain budget.) Finished rings will be professionally cast, polished, and ready for pickup in 2–3 weeks. Social Beings Class & Workshop Policy To keep our classes running smoothly and ensure that every guest has the best experience possible, please review our booking and cancellation policies below. Booking • All clients must book and pay for their class or workshop online to reserve a spot. • If you prefer to pay via Venmo, you must email us first so we can manually add you to the class and hold your reservation. Spots are not guaranteed until we confirm your booking. Cancellation Policy • Cancellations must be made at least 12 hours in advance. This allows our instructors to properly prepare, adjust class plans, and ensure they are compensated fairly for their time. • If you cancel within 12 hours of the class start time, the full class fee will be forfeited. • We understand that emergencies happen. If something unexpected occurs, please reach out through email or the website chat to let us know you can’t attend. In the case of a true emergency, we may be able to offer class credit, but it is not guaranteed.
